This is my 3rd year with my hydroponics and never had a problem with the deer. But this year its been pretty bad. So this past week we put up a permanent fence. Never to have that problem again! Have to say we did a pretty good job of it and I LIKE my new fence.

Yesterday I picked 2 heads of cabbage. Today I made Coleslaw! The recipe was to 1 lb. of cabbage 1/4c. mayo, 1/4c. sugar, 1/4c. cider vinegar. But ended up using 1/2 c. mayo, 1/4c. sugar and about 1/8 of a cup of the vinegar….trying to get the consistency of store bought coleslaw dressing.
Went out and picked Lettuce, Spinach, Cherry Tomatoes and a Cucumber for my salad tonight. :~) Let’s see, a bag of Lettuce is $2.50, Cucumbers are 2 for $1.49, container of Cherry Tomatoes are $2.00. I know mine are fresh, no chemicals, mined minerals for fertilizer. I love my hydroponics.
